Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial information.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
Compensation:
$25/hr to $35/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
