How you'll make a difference:
  • Prepare high quality engineering drawings for power system design, fire safety, lighting, security systems, and voice and data communication systems for various types of buildings using Revit
  • Coordinate details with other disciplines
  • Provide design support for electrical engineering projects
  • Work with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained
  • Assist senior team members in carrying out technical tasks
Who you are:
  • A Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent
  • 4-8 years' experience in electrical engineering drafting and design work on power system design, life safety, lighting, security systems, voice and data communication systems for commercial and institutional buildings
  • Registered member of ASET (or equivalent) with CET certification
  • Field contract administration experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of building code and electrical codes and standards for buildings is an asset
  • 3+ years Revit experience required
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ETAP, Elumtools, and AGI32 is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with effective interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Collaborative, team oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
