The Opportunity:

Reporting to Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, the incumbent will be responsible for providing analysis and insights into the business results of various groups within WSP Canada.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Actively participate in the consolidation and analysis of annual budgets, forecasts and monthly results. This includes coordination with various stakeholders across the organization and the preparation of management reports and presentations.
  • Prepare various types of financial analysis using key performance indicators.
  • Develop and manage analytical tools and processes to improve the quality and transparency of financial results and forecasts and to facilitate ad hoc reporting
  • Provide support to the FP&A team in various related activities and initiatives

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Recognized professional CPA designation (preferred)
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
  • Background of financial analysis and management reporting; demonstrated ability to analyze and draw insights from information and convey complex information in straightforward manner
  • Ability to locate and collect data from varied sources
  • Good written and oral communication skills to convey and resolve issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with and build relationships with a diverse group at all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail, working on a conscientious, consistent and thorough manner
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in changing situations
  • Ability to prioritise and manage numerous deliverables in an innovative and dynamic environment
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
