Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate all activities for the assigned accounts.
  2. Assist and conduct daily shift meetings.
  3. Team leads are the subject matter experts in their functional areas.
  4. Acting as the Super Users (WMS):
  5. Training, Re-training Associates on WMS transactions and helping troubleshoot WMS issues.
  6. Communicating information and answering associates’ questions related to High Jump RF Scan Devices.
  7. Provide front line support of Warehouse system.
  8. Serve as a Liaison between IT Team and Operations.
  9. On the floor: supervision of warehouse associates, making sure that the Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions are being followed and the Key Performance Indicators are achieved.
  10. Ensure staff lunch and breaks schedules are followed.
  11. Provide feedback to management regarding employee performance.
  12. Ensures adherence to established safety practices.
  13. Proactively bring to the attention of management any operational issues as they develop and assist in finding resolution.
  14. Assists in the labour planning for their department (meeting the productivity standards).
  15. Ensure work functions are handed out to all staff timely so there is no downtime (meeting the productivity standards).
  16. Responsible for the allocation and proper use of equipment such as RF guns.
  17. Proactively informs management to order supplies as required.
  18. Liaise with internal departments such as Customer Service, Transportation, Shipping and Receiving and Inventory to investigate and resolve operational and client issues.
  19. Demonstrate knowledge of current ongoing customer requirements, or new client set up in order to meet customer expectations and Service Level Agreements.
  20. Enforce workplace rules.
  21. Performs administrative tasks as they relate to the operation.
  22. Participates in different projects as requested.
  23. Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is preferred.
  2. Minimum Completion - High School Diploma or equivalent.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Good command of Math.
  5. Computer literate.
  6. Demonstrated strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills must be a resourceful self-starter.
  7. Team player skills with demonstrated abilities to interact well with all levels of associates.
  8. Proven ability to encourage and motivate others in a positive manner.
  9. Strong organizational skills.
  10. Works well under pressure.
  11. Demonstrates enthusiasm to tasks at hand, and high energy level.
