Ce que nous recherchons (What we are looking for)

The Master Production Planner, owns, develops, and executes the grow room capacity models to achieve desired capacity to demand forecasts while optimizing grow room utilization and grow conditions required for plant yield and quality.

This role encompasses production planning and order fulfillment. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to develop and align on a grow room configuration that will best meet commercial, horticulture, operations and supply chain needs.

Ce rôle englobe la planification de la production et l'exécution des commandes. Il travaille en étroite collaboration avec les parties prenantes internes afin de développer et d'aligner une configuration de salle de culture qui répondra au mieux aux besoins commerciaux, horticoles, opérationnels et à ceux de la chaîne d'approvisionnement.

Responsabilités (Responsibilities)

Technical ownership of GoodLeaf grow room capacity models, SCADA and FP inventory Power BI apps.
Key Stakeholder of GoodLeaf SHOP process (Sales, Horticulture, Operations/Supply chain Planning)
Develop and deploy various grow room configurations to meet operational and commercial requirements across all GoodLeaf farms in the network (currently 3)
Develop and deploy capacity models for all nodes of the farming system (Seeding, Germination, Growing, Harvesting, Packaging)
Support all Farms’ production planners
Execute production planning and order fulfilment for the Saint-Hubert farm.
Assist in Commission-Qualify-Verify (CQV) activities for new farm facilities and systems.
Assist in maintaining technology and process standardization across the GoodLeaf farm network.
Create and maintain relationships with consultants, suppliers, developers, etc. required for the GoodLeaf production platform and new farm facilities and systems.
Provide subject matter expertise with respect to grow room capacity modeling
Increase and develop internal knowledge with respect to vertical farming technologies (automation, climate control, irrigation, harvesting, packaging), manufacturing technologies and practices, data management/analysis.
Actively improve technical knowledge in the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) industry.
Lead teams of internal and external stakeholders in reviewing existing and future designs.

Développer et déployer des modèles de capacité pour tous les nœuds du système agricole (ensemencement, germination, croissance, récolte, conditionnement).
Soutenir les planificateurs de production de toutes les fermes
Exécuter la planification de la production et l'exécution des commandes pour la ferme de Saint-Hubert.
Participer aux activités de Commission-Qualité-Vérification (CQV) pour les nouvelles installations et les nouveaux systèmes de la ferme.
Aider à maintenir la normalisation des technologies et des processus dans l'ensemble du réseau de fermes GoodLeaf.
Créer et entretenir des relations avec les consultants, les fournisseurs, les développeurs, etc. nécessaires à la plateforme de production GoodLeaf et aux nouvelles installations et systèmes agricoles.
Fournir une expertise en matière de modélisation de la capacité des salles de culture.
Accroître et développer les connaissances internes en ce qui concerne les technologies d'agriculture verticale (automatisation, contrôle du climat, irrigation, récolte, conditionnement), les technologies et pratiques de fabrication, la gestion et l'analyse des données.
Améliorer activement les connaissances techniques dans le secteur de l'agriculture en milieu contrôlé.
Diriger des équipes de parties prenantes internes et externes dans le cadre de l'examen des conceptions existantes et futures.

Qualifications et exigences en matière d'éducation (Qualifications & Educational Requirements)

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Systems), Mathematics, or other related degrees
A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical roles encompassing S&OP process, planning / forecasting
Familiarity with the major technical systems of an indoor farm (irrigation, lighting, HVAC, nutrients & food safety) is considered an asset
A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a technical or operational role
Fully bilingual
Experience in an Engineering, Process Design, or S&OP process role within a CEA industry is an asset
Experience within a food manufacturing or horticultural environment is an asset
Specific training or experience in any of the following analytical areas would be considered an asset:
o Discrete Event Simulation
o Mathematical Modelling & Optimization
o Statistical Analysis and risk evaluation

Licence en ingénierie (mécanique, industrielle, systèmes), en mathématiques ou dans un autre domaine connexe.
Un minimum de 10 ans d'expérience dans des fonctions techniques englobant le processus S&OP, la planification et les prévisions.
Une bonne connaissance des principaux systèmes techniques d'une ferme d'intérieur (irrigation, éclairage, chauffage, ventilation et climatisation, nutriments et sécurité alimentaire) est considérée comme un atout.
Un minimum de 4 ans d'expérience en leadership dans un rôle technique ou opérationnel
Parfaitement bilingue
Une expérience dans un rôle d'ingénierie, de conception de processus ou de processus S&OP au sein d'une industrie CEA est un atout.
Une expérience dans le domaine de la fabrication de produits alimentaires ou de l'horticulture est un atout.
Une formation ou une expérience spécifique dans l'un des domaines analytiques suivants serait considérée comme un atout :
o Simulation d'événements discrets
o Modélisation mathématique et optimisation
o Analyse statistique et Évaluation des risques
