Our department builds IVD grade digital pathology software across a plurality of modalities, streamlining the delivery of science and algorithms into high-volume clinical diagnostics. We focus on accelerating Digital Pathology adoption by providing solutions in AWS cloud and on-premise.
Do you want to develop software products that scientists and others in the life sciences will use to diagnose, find treatments, and eventually beat diseases like cancer? As a DevOps Engineer, you are joining a passionate software engineering team to build digital pathology products to change patients’ lives.
The Opportunity:
- Design & implement product infrastructure, to automate infrastructure provisioning and troubleshoot issues. Ultimately, the software you produce will impact patient diagnosis globally.
- Applies extensive and diversified scripting knowledge to automate continuous integration of software development features.
- General responsibilities include script development, managing CI/CD pipelines, code review, troubleshooting skills, and monitoring experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and comfortable with on-premise deployments.
Who you are:
- 5+ years experience in DevOps with a minimum B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent field.
- Highly motivated and passionate about DevOps practices and have a passion for automating development workflows.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, comfortable working with cross-functional teams (Product owners, release train engineers & developers/QA) in an Agile environment.
- Experience with custom scripting experience building & managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines for custom software applications (preferably Java & frontend build tools).
- Strong scripting experience (Github actions workflow development, Groovy & Shell scripting) automating common developer & QA workflows is highly preferred.
- Experience delivering on-premise & cloud (AWS preferred) environments and monitoring to support QA testing cycles, production deployments & infrastructure.
- Automating AWS service provisioning such as EKS, EC2 using CloudFormation/Terraform.
