Business Information Security Officer – Azure & Data Expert


Robert Half’s client is looking for a candidate to support their Data Platform as a Business Information Security Officer. The BISO will collaborate with business and technical teams, ensuring technical standards are being followed. The resource should have the technical background to understand and guide the teams on technical issues – understanding the situation, how to resolve, and come up with a remediation plan to reach a resolution.


Experience should include:

  • Consulting experience in risk assessment, definition of required controls, appropriateness of implemented control procedures, and/or vulnerability assessments
  • Experience with Azure Cloud (Azure Databricks, Synapse, Azure DataLake)
  • Experience with Data Technologies (i.e., Data Lake, Data Warehouse)
  • Experience with Data Governance and Data Management technologies (i.e., Data Catalogues)
  • Experience with Analytics tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, POSIT, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with Meta Data Products


This is a contract to hire position, that will be hybrid/onsite in Toronto 2 days per week.
