Millwright Apprentice

The Millwright installs, maintains, and repairs machines in the facility to prevent or fix machine breakdowns.

Job Details:

  • Full-time, day shift
  • Total comprehensive benefit and pension package

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or obtained Industrial Millwright Mechanic certificate
  • Red Seal certification an asset
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Millwright in a fast-paced manufacturing environment an asset
  • Proficient in computers with the ability to use various applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry and their applications
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to lead, take charge and offer opinions and direction
  • Ability to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner
  • Capable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane
