Front End Developer

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a versatile Software Developer specializing in Front-End Development to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining responsive front-end interfaces and feature-rich applications for our global organization.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user interface and experience of our applications, focusing on both web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring designs to life, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience across various devices.

The Role:

As a Front-End Developer, you will:

  1. Collaborate in the development of new and existing software applications, emphasizing front-end features based on company requirements.
  2. Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement and maintain visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for web applications.
  3. Act as a technical resource within the team, serving as a point of reference and mentoring others in front-end development best practices.
  4. Ensure adherence to quality and security standards in front-end application development.
  5. Perform thorough testing of new software, front-end interfaces, and mobile features before deployment.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, providing recommendations to the Head of the Department and Leadership Team regarding front-end development strategies.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:
  1. 3 to 5 years of active experience in front-end development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  2. Experience with responsive design principles for various devices.
  3. Experience with UX and UI Design across multiple devices.
  4. Experience with WordPress development and customization.
  5. Familiarity with mobile development.
  6. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and code refactoring.
  7. Experience with version control systems, preferably GIT.
  8. Strong troubleshooting skills with proven problem-solving abilities.
  9. Comfortable interacting with a Linux environment.
  10. Experience with automated UI testing environments (ex: Selenium).
Desired:
  1. Experience with WordPress Plugin and Theme development.
  2. Familiarity with AWS APIs and environments.
  3. Familiarity with Python.
  4. Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
  5. CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Gitlab CI).
  6. Previous involvement in the full software development lifecycle.
