Extruder Operator

Resolution Staffing Inc. Northumberland's Premier Staffing Service, is looking for Full Time, Permanent Extruder/ Machine Operators for a well-established manufacturer in the Northumberland area.

Responsibilities:
Monitor mixer and extruder controls
Setting barrel, die-screw cooling temps for maximum quality run
Cleaning mixer and extruder before use
Extruding product
Weighing and packaging product
Keeping proper records and data sheets
Continuous standing/climbing stairs while running extruder
Performing minor maintenance
Operating a forklift to transfer product from production area to warehouse
Maintaining a clean work area
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Forklift certification
Experience working in a production environment; experience in a chemical or plastic manufacturing would be preferred
Basic computer experience
Basic mathematical skills
Able to identify colours
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must be able to follow instructions and be very detailed oriented
Must be able to work a weekly rotating continental shift schedule
Team player
Clear criminal background check
