Our client, Mother Parkers, a leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join their Quality team at the Mississauga Plant.About the Role:Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Manager will lead the plant's quality management system, ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in a high-risk aseptic manufacturing environment. This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving a culture of quality and food safety across all operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop a team of 4 QA professionals including supervisors, coordinators, and shift technicians.Oversee all quality and food safety programs including HACCP, GMPs, Traceability, Pest Control, and Sanitation.Ensure compliance with SQF standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.Manage batch release, non-conformances, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls.Coordinate product trials, audits, and customer quality assurance visits.Act as Site Recall Coordinator and lead investigations into product holds and complaints.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality systems and food safety.Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in aseptic food or beverage manufacturing.BSc in Sciences or Industrial Engineering.HACCP certification and experience maintaining HACCP-based systems.Proven leadership experience in a supervisory role.Strong understanding of GFSI certification programs and SPC tools.Excellent decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Experience with lab analytical equipment and microbiological testing is an asset.Mechanical aptitude related to coffee processing equipment is preferred.This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional looking to make a strategic impact in a collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
