Reporting to the Vice President Sales and Operations, the Field Sales Director is responsible for providing coaching and leadership for the Ontario sales team and overseeing execution in all sales channels in the assigned region. They will be responsible for implementing effective and innovative strategies that uphold the integrity of the brands and help grow share in the province. ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership to a regional sales team and foster a culture of success, accountability, professional development, high performance and ethical behaviour.Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics and operational plans for sales and distribution of wines, spirits and all beverages within the portfolio.Accountable for delivering upon regional targets such as revenue, volume, market share and points of distributionManage key customer relationships and actively participate in closing strategic opportunities. Support and develop all sales representatives through coaching and training initiatives.Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly sales initiatives and goals.Track, rank and publish results.Lead Bi-Weekly Sales Meetings setting priorities and reviewing performance of the teamCreate Quarterly Launch Presentations communicating important priorities and ensure supporting tools are in placeIdentify sales objectives by territory.Collaborate with customer marketing team to ensure strong execution of consumer programmingProvide competitive analysis for brand performance and competitive set.Monitor and review expense reports to effectively manage the T&E budget.Correspond proactively with all corporate partners to maintain positive and long-term business relationship.Develop and oversee daily/weekly route planning with all sales representatives.Ensure discipline and implementation of the CRM toolManage and oversee supplier visitsSkillsExperience in the alcoholic beverage industry (an asset)Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry (an asset)Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)Strong experience with Sales CRM tools Highly developed interpersonal skills and dynamic leadership capabilitiesStrong planning, organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication skills with an ability to develop effective presentationsExceptional analytical skillsFamiliarity managing budgetsDisplays an entrepreneurial spirit and is highly self-motivatedProven ability to manage multiple projects and respect tight deadlinesProven success building a market strategy and corporate sales planAvailable to attend periodic evening and weekend eventsOwn a car and a valid driver's licenseEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administrationExperience in the alcoholic beverage industry (an asset)Minimum of 5 years of Consumer Packaged Goods experience (an asset)Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Sales management experience leading high performing teams
