Senior ETL Developer On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior ETL Developer. Senior ETL Developer - Job Description
This role involves leading the migration of data and files from legacy systems to modernized platforms, ensuring best practice solutions and maintaining high standards of data integrity and security
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end solutions in data migration, including strategy, mapping, conversion, and post-migration support
This role requires a strong ability to analyze legacy data, suggest pre-migration cleansing activities, and oversee the entire migration process to ensure seamless integration into new systems
Senior ETL Developer - Mandatory Skills
7+ years of experience in developing data conversion and migration
Extensive experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, etc.
Proficient in cloud DB technologies, including Azure SQL
Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, data migration strategies, and plans
Strong understanding of Information Management principles, master data, and transactional data concepts
Experience in migrating document attachments from legacy solutions to new modernized solutions
Senior ETL Developer - Preferred Skills
Full life-cycle data conversion experience with enterprise systems
Proficiency in SQL, PL-SQL, and other query languages
Familiarity with various database structures and RDBMS such as Oracle DB, MS SQL Server
Experience with data conversion scripts and overseeing all tasks involved in the conversion process
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
