Our products contain communication, audio, microprocessor and power devices (analog and switching). Mircom is seeking a PCB Layout Designer that will be working within the electronics design team. You will be responsible for the layout of mid to high complexity PCB designs on multi-layer printed circuit boards, as well as the expansion of the electronic part libraries for the Altium design environment. You will interface with various engineering disciplines daily to deliver a high-quality design within the given design requirements.ResponsibilitiesLayout of mid to high complexity PCB designs on multi-layer printed circuit boards.Expansion of the electronic part libraries for the Altium design environment.Interface with various engineering disciplines daily.Deliver a high-quality design within the given design requirements.QualificationsBachelor's, Master's or Equivalent degree, in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.2-5 years of experience in PCB layout design for production.Required SkillsAnalog, Low Power Medium Speed Digital ( Ability to manage time effectively to meet schedule commitments.Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to support work in a team environment.Self-started, versatile and eager to learn.Preferred SkillsHands-on PCB Layout knowledge.DFT and DFM techniques knowledge.Experience with Altium Designer, Matlab and PSPICE.Experience with ERP (Dynamics AX) is a plus.Pay range and compensation packageA great working environment with opportunities for advancement, competitive salary, group insurance benefits, and company RRSP program.Equal Opportunity StatementInterested applicants please forward a copy of your cover letter and resume to Human Resources.
