Infrastructure Solutions Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Solution Architect to lead the design and execution of critical infrastructure projects, focusing on global data center migrations, virtualization, and Azure cloud integration. This is a hands-on design role where you will be the technical authority, creating resilient, secure, and cost-effective solutions that form the backbone of our IT operations.You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to define requirements, create detailed designs, and ensure the successful modernization of our infrastructure landscape.Key Responsibilities:Solution Design & Architecture: Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions for global data center environments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and performance.Cloud Migration: Lead the technical design for migrating on-premises workloads (including Oracle, MS SQL, and Databricks environments) to the Microsoft Azure cloud.Technical Collaboration: Work directly with engineering teams to define and specify hardware and software requirements for new solutions and upgrades.Cost Management: Develop detailed cost estimates and TCO analyses for proposed solutions using tools like the Microsoft Azure Calculator, ensuring financial efficiency.Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to integrate infrastructure designs, ensuring they meet all corporate security and compliance standards.Essential Qualifications (Must Haves):5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure solution design for data centers.5+ years of hands-on experience with core data center technologies, including:Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL ServerAnalytics Platforms: DatabricksProven background in hardware infrastructure engineering (compute, storage, networking).Demonstrable experience designing and migrating solutions to a major public cloud (Microsoft Azure is highly preferred).Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, VNet, Load Balancing, DNS) and virtualization technologies.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions).Professional-level network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM/Bicep.
