LeverageTek is actively seeking a Cloud Application Developer for a 6-month contract with its Vancouver based customerWork LocationHybrid 3x a week on site at HQ in VancouverKey TasksBuild internal tools that automate workflows and increase productivity across departmentsLeverage AI tools to accelerate development velocity, using cutting-edge AI-assisted coding techniques to build faster and smarterDevelop product features using AI tools that can be rapidly prototyped and handed off to the core development team for implementationContribute to architectural decisions and strategic technical initiativesDesign and implement REST and GraphQL APIs that power internal and customer-facing applicationsPioneer new development practices that demonstrate the power of AI-augmented engineeringKey Qualifications3-5 years of full-stack development experience with strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and TypeScript, including hands-on design and implementation of REST and GraphQL APIs.Proven experience building on Google Cloud Platform, particularly with Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions) and BigQuery, and a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures.Experience leveraging AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate development, rapidly prototype features, and push the boundaries of AI-augmented engineering.Assets: Deep experience with Vertex AI or other Google AI servicesKnowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servicesTrack record of using AI to build products or features fasterExperience building internal tools or developer productivity toolsBackground in rapid prototyping or POC developmentExperience in Salesforce developmentFamiliarity with dealership management systems or Powersports/Trailer/RV/Golfcar/OPE dealer operations
