Contractor - Solution ArchitectSummary / Overview: We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and implement technology solutions that effectively address complex business challenges. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, developing end-to-end solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with overall enterprise standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically proficient, and able to guide teams from initial requirements through to deployment.Key Responsibilities:Business Requirements & Analysis:Participate in requirement gathering sessions and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives.Translate business needs into technical requirements and feasible solutions.Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.Solution Design:Develop the overall technical strategy and architecture for solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and security standards are met.Document solution designs, including integration patterns, APIs, and data flow models.Assist in estimating effort, complexity, and resource requirements.Advocate for process improvements and provide ongoing technical leadership to teams.Implementation Oversight:Review code to ensure adherence to the solution design.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands-on support when necessary.Take on development tasks to support delivery timelines.Technical Guidance:Provide guidance and mentorship to development and testing teams.Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.Governance & Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration.Requirements & Skills:Technical Skills:Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, JavaScript, React, and HTML.Hands-on experience with SOAP, SOA, and RESTful web services.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as OpenShift and Kubernetes.Knowledge of cloud-native development and architecture on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile, and DevOps practices.Familiarity with building scalable, secure enterprise systems.Professional Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight delivery timelines.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in software development and architecture roles.At least 5 years of experience designing enterprise-scale solutions.Experience with Customer Information Systems (CIS) is a plus.
