MICROSOFT 365 ADMINISTRATOROur Toronto based client is seeking a M365 Administrator to join their team to manage and optimize its Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on tenant administration, identity management, and collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, while workingclosely with dedicated Exchange and Security teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing M365 tenant for M365 apps including user accounts, groups, and license assignments.Coordinate multi-factor authentication and conditional access policies with the security team.Configure and maintain OneDrive and other M365 apps, implement governance policies for sharing and collaboration, and support adoption while providing Tier 2 troubleshooting for collaboration tools.Monitor license usage, optimize allocation, assist with cost management and reporting, applying retention labels and basic compliance settingsMonitor service health, resolve user issues, and using PowerShell for automation and bulk operations are also key aspects of this role.SKILLS REQUIRED:Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for identity and access managementProficiency in PowerShell scriptingPreferred Certifications: Administrator Expert (MS-102) and Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)1 year contractRate: $40/hour for an Incorporated Consultant (based on 37.5 hours/week)Hybrid work model (3 days/week in office MANDATORY)If you're interested, please reply with a copy of your updated CV.I will be in contact quickly to discuss additional info and next steps.
