SimCorp Data Analyst - Hybrid, Montreal, QCThe Opportunity:Strategio is building a high-performing data and analytics team to support investment operations at a major Canadian a leading Canadian investment management firm with hundreds of billions in AUM.We're seeking a Business Analyst who combines business insight, financial systems knowledge, and advanced data translation skills to help deliver Power BI dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics solutions. This hybrid role, based in Montreal, QC, plays a critical function in bridging business users and data engineers, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.About you:You are a clear communicator, confident with both business and data. You're experienced with Power BI and SQL, and you know how to turn raw data into insight. You're comfortable in high-stakes, data-driven financial environments and understand how to collaborate with operations, investment, and IT teams.You thrive when navigating ambiguity, and you bring structure and clarity to complex data challenges.As a Strategio Data Analyst, you will:Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for investment-related data initiativesTranslate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with BI and engineering teamsBuild and optimize Power BI dashboards and visual reports for operational and management usePartner with investment and operations teams to validate datasets and clarify reporting logicExecute or support SQL queries and data modeling efforts to improve analysis workflowsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate in sprint-based solution deliverySupport testing phases including regression, system integration, and UATAct as a liaison between SimCorp data sources and enterprise data environmentsCore Skills:Experience as a Business Analyst in financial, investment, or data-heavy environmentsHands-on proficiency in Power BI and SQLStrong understanding of investment operations, data flows, and key financial metricsExperience gathering and translating requirements across business and IT teamsEnglish fluency; French is a plusNice-to-Haves:Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension for data extraction or analysisExposure to Snowflake, Alteryx, or Python in analytics workflowsUnderstanding of data governance, data lineage, or regulatory reportingExperience with performance attribution or portfolio accounting dataPrevious work with large asset management institutionsYour job search ends here.If you're eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects and want to work with a high performance team, Apply Here .Location: Hybrid, must be based in Montreal, QC
