Position SummaryPosition Title: AZ Tanker Driver - HighwayLocation Start: Mississauga, OntarioType of Employment: Full-timeShift Schedule: 4 Days on & 4 Days offDescription:We're looking for dependable, customer-and safety oriented focused drivers to become part of our dynamic delivery team. We offer comprehensive training, dedicated equipment, and clear opportunities for career growth.Responsibilities: Delivering products to various locations within Ontario, Quebec, and US Perform physical unloading of goods (hand bombing) of up to 50 lbs Safely transport cryogenic gases, CO2 products, and other hazardous materials to designated destinations Operate tanker to transport a variety of loads safely and efficiently Ensure on-time, safe, and professional delivery to customers Accurately document all deliveries and maintain detailed logs Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs Have flexible availability to cover customer demands Requirements: Valid AZ License Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ experience Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker experience Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper fit and seal of required personal protective equipment (PPE), when applicable Position involves regular overnight and multi-day trips Strong knowledge of safety regulations and load securement procedures Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts Clean CVOR, abstract Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service Excellent customer service skills Ability to complete eLog and inspection reports accurately FAST Card required TDG required Must be legally eligible to enter the U.S. with valid documentationWhy work for Canada Cartage?As an iconic Canadian company with over 100 years of helping companies grow and succeed in Canada, we offer dedicated fleet solutions, freight services, managed transportation, fulfillment, and home delivery.
