The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in driving business growth, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.What's in it for you?You'll be rewarded with a competitive compensation package that includes:Comprehensive health and dental benefitsPerformance-based bonusPaid vacationVehicle allowanceRRSP matchingEmployee share ownership opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for highway maintenance and infrastructure projects, including bridge and pavement marking operationsDevelop and execute business plans aligned with corporate goals and performance metricsEnsure compliance with contract obligations and key performance indicators (KPIs)Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, Indigenous communities, and industry stakeholdersLead the development and implementation of seasonal operational plansOversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlPromote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to OH&S regulations and internal safety protocolsManage workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and succession strategiesOversee capital planning, equipment utilization, and facility maintenanceRepresent the organization at industry events, community engagements, and stakeholder meetingsWhat You'll Bring:Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in highway maintenance, heavy civil construction, or a related fieldPost-secondary education in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or equivalent experienceProven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and foster a strong internal cultureStrong financial acumen with experience in budget management and operational planningDemonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and relationship managementIn-depth knowledge of highway maintenance practices, safety standards, and quality assurance protocolsExperience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects and contractsProficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems such as GPS/AVLS and ERP platformsFamiliarity with provincial highway maintenance and P3 contracts is a strong assetUnderstanding of employment legislation and experience in managing complianceIf you're a results-driven leader ready to make a lasting impact in the infrastructure sector, we want to hear from you.
