As part of our expansion into data-driven and cloud-first ecosystems, we are inviting motivated individuals to join our Data Engineering Internship Cohort.Role OverviewAs a Data Engineering Intern at SalesPilot 365, you will work with data and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence systems. This hands-on internship is ideal for aspiring data engineers who want to gain real-world exposure to data processing, ETL workflows, cloud platforms, and database technologies. No prior professional experience is required.Key ResponsibilitiesLearn to design and develop data pipelines for collecting, processing, and transforming structured and unstructured data.Assist with building ETL/ELT workflows using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.Work with relational and NoSQL databases to maintain data quality and integrity.Support data ingestion from APIs, files, and streaming sources into data warehouses or lakes.Gain exposure to cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.Assist in optimising data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.Write SQL queries and basic Python scripts for data processing and automation.Collaborate closely with analytics and business teams to ensure data is reliable and accessible.RequirementsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MSc in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.Basic understanding of databases and data concepts.Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).Interest in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and data pipeline development.Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and attention to detail.Good written and verbal communication skills.Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)Exposure to ETL tools or frameworks such as Airflow, Talend, or dbt.Familiarity with big data platforms like Spark or Hadoop.Understanding of REST APIs and data ingestion methods.Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Experience working with Git or other version-control systems.What You'll GainPractical exposure to real-world data engineering workflows used by leading organisations.Hands-on experience building data pipelines, managing databases, and working with cloud data platforms.1:1 mentorship from experienced data engineers and industry professionals.Internship Certificate and Letter of Recommendation upon successful completion.Opportunity for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) with SalesPilot 365 or partner client organisations.StipendStarting stipend of C$20 per hour, with potential increases based on performance in assessments and interviews.
