This site-based role demands a hands-on leader with deep expertise in heavy civil construction and mass excavation.Location: South AmericaProject Type: Large-scale Mining & InfrastructureKey ResponsibilitiesLead construction execution for the TSF (Tailings Storage Facility) and bulk earthworks, including drill & blast and mass excavation.Champion a strong HSE culture across all phases of the project.Provide field support for contract development, contractor mobilization, and execution oversight.Manage fleet mobilization, logistics, and infrastructure development.Oversee construction of a 100m earthen tailings dam, ensuring compliance with quality standards.Integrate owner self-perform activities, including >100T earthmoving fleet management.Support early site development and infrastructure planning to enable smooth mobilization.Drive schedule and production management, including schedule mitigation strategies.Lead personnel across EPCM home office and field execution teams.Qualifications15-20 years of experience in heavy civil construction, preferably in mining.Proven experience in high-altitude execution (>3500 masl).Prior leadership in tailings dam construction and mass excavation.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.Experience working in South America; Argentina experience is an asset.Strong background in project setup, planning, and field execution.Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in remote environments.To apply for this position, please send your resume in Word format to We thank all applicants for their interest.
