Senior Power BI Developer with PowerShell and DevOpsJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with deep expertise in PowerShell and DevOps practices to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience to create sophisticated Power BI reports, automate complex processes with PowerShell, and drive DevOps strategies for scalable and efficient BI solutions. This role demands strong technical leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact insights.Key ResponsibilitiesPower BI Development:Architect and develop advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support strategic business objectives.Utilize DAX, Power Query, and advanced data modelling techniques to create optimized, high-performance BI solutions.Implement robust data security, governance, and performance tuning in Power BI environments.PowerShell Automation:Design and maintain complex PowerShell scripts to automate ETL processes, data refreshes, and Power BI workspace management.Integrate PowerShell with Power BI APIs to enable programmatic control of reports, datasets, and administrative tasks.Optimize automation workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.DevOps Integration:Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for Power BI solutions using Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools.Oversee version control, automated testing, and deployment of BI assets in cloud environments (e.g., Azure).Drive best practices for DevOps in BI, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable deployments.Data Integration and Management:Architect data integration pipelines connecting Power BI to diverse sources (e.g., SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, REST APIs).Optimize complex data models and queries for performance and usability.Provide technical guidance on data warehousing and ETL strategies.Collaboration and Leadership:Partner with business leaders to translate complex requirements into actionable BI solutions.Mentor junior developers and provide training on Power BI, PowerShell, and DevOps practices.Document processes, scripts, and architectures to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
