Senior Full Stack Developer

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a 3-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.Work LocationRemoteKey TasksWork with UI/UX team to elaborate wireframes and produce live prototypes following the wireframe designParticipate in stakeholder review sessions and adjust the prototypes accordinglyReview artifact development lifecycle and identify automation opportunitiesTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and system designWork with the architect to design and build the Framework Content Management solutionBuild proof of concepts for various aspects of the whole solutionParse, transform and enhance content in XMI formatProvide regular progress updates, demos, and sprint deliverablesTest, optimize, and ensure system reliability and maintainabilitySupport deployment, configuration, and onboarding in AWS Cloud environmentElaborate technical documentation for all components and handoff to internal teamsDeliverablesDesign and implement scalable Framework Content Management solution (frontend + backend + storage)Define configurable templates for generating live web pages from predefined templates based on dynamic, bilingual contentIntegration with authoring tools that support Markdown/WYSIWYG/structured contentApproval workflows including inline comments, annotations, and workflow dashboardsFeedback mechanisms for published docs (e.g., rating widgets, forms, analytics)Versioning, status and metadata managementAPI based system-to-system integrationXMI format parsing and transformationDevelop publishing pipelines and integrations with CI/CD and documentation portals. Static site generation or dynamic rendering depending on performance and frequency of content updatesSecure authentication, and role-based access control (Admin, Editor, Reviewer, Viewer)Audit logs for all content changes and user actionsDeployment to a cloud environment with proper security and performance optimization Key Qualifications10+ years of full-stack development experience with expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular), and backend stacks (Python, Java, etc.).Extensive experience building or integrating complex CMS/documentation platforms, including workflows, templates, versioning, metadata, and structured content.Strong cloud-native development experience on AWS, including secure deployment, optimization, and CI/CD-integrated publishing pipelines.QualificationsStrong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (7+ years).Deep experience building and integrating REST APIs (10+ years).Experience with structured content formats, including XMI parsing and transformation.Ability to operate independently, manage milestones, and deliver consistently.Strong skills in translating business requirements into technical specifications.UX/UI experience developing intuitive authoring or content interfaces.Proven experience delivering large, enterprise-scale technical systems.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.AssetsExperience integrating with EA Sparx, Prolaborate, or Confluence.Knowledge of modelling notations such as UML, ER, BPMN.Experience with docs-as-code ecosystems, DITA, or other structured content systems.Familiarity with static site generators or headless CMS platforms.CI/CD experience building automated documentation pipelines.About LeverageTek Staffing SolutionsFounded in 2003, LeverageTek provides end-to-end, cross-functional staffing solutions throughout North America.
