Our client, Oak Valley Health (OVH), is one of Ontario's leading community healthcare organizations serving some of the fastest growing and most diverse communities across Eastern York Region and North Durham Region. Across two hospital sites, Markham Stouffville Hospital and Uxbridge Hospital, as well as a Reactivation Care Centre, OVH provides high quality, patient-centered care to more than 468,000 patients each year. The organization offers diagnostic and emergency services and delivers clinical programs in acute care medicine and surgery, addictions and mental health, and childbirth and children's services. OVH is part of the Eastern York Region North Durham Ontario Health Team and has nearly 400 beds, more than 3,200 employees, 586 professional staff, 930 volunteers, and a $380M Budget.

There are redevelopment projects taking place at both hospital sites.

Responsibilities If you are a dynamic, strategic minded, visionary and transformational leader who is a champion of clinical excellence, innovation and fiscal responsibility, and willing to play a key strategic role in the redevelopment of a new hospital, come join the dynamic Oak Valley Health Senior Leadership Team as the new: Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

 Requirements

Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the new VP & CFO, will have a professional designation (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA), preferably hold a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related degree, and have over 7 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience. The VP & CFO will implement financial strategies, oversee the financial health of the organization and collaborate with all staff to achieve OVH's financial goals. You will have a solid track record for leading change initiatives, strong interpersonal skills and a reputation for fostering a safe and healthy culture for staff and patients. You have significant fiscal experience, a high degree of technological savvy and are ready to support the redevelopment projects at the Uxbridge Hospital. CHE designation would be an asset.
