We are looking for job seekers who share our passion for professionalism and customer service.SummaryWe are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for emergency estimation to join our Ottawa Team at Bachly Construction. This position is Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm and requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency restoration services.ResponsibilitiesRespond to residential emergency insurance losses (fires, flood, wind damage, etc)Develop and design scope for all new insurance claims up to $300,000 in valueEnsure high standards of workmanship and efficiencyEstablish effective onsite communications and progress reporting with sub-trades and clientsPrepare and maintain timely and accurate documentation and reports using Xactimate, Docusketch, and EncircleRead, interpret, and understand construction drawings and specificationsProactive in response to all Insured/Client inquiries, concerns or complaints and resolve any issues as soon as possibleConfirm insurance deductibles and obtain payment prior to starting repairs, schedule & request progress draws for large projects from clients as required from managementAccurate and timely preparation of estimate and scope of repairsBudgeting/schedulingEnsuring all health and safety procedures are followedParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency servicesOther duties as requested by the Senior Estimator/ General ManagerQualificationsMinimum 5 years of similar work experience within the Restoration/Insurance industryIICRC certifications are considered an assetProficiency with Xactimate, PSA, and EncircleCollege or University degree in Construction Engineering Technology or Construction ManagementValid Ontario driver's license and access to personal transportationAbility to work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a teamExcellent communication and organizational skillsExceptional customer service skillsStrong work ethic with attention to detailRequirementsBasic security clearance (clear criminal record check)Availability Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pmParticipation in rotating on-call schedule for after hours Emergency Restoration ServicesAttending and actively participating in on-going training and safety certifications as needed and to make every effort to attempt to pass any exams that may be requiredIf you are ready to take your estimating skills to the next level with a company that values integrity and excellence, we invite you to apply today at Bachly ConstructionWe offer our employees a positive work environment, competitive wages, health and dental benefits, training opportunities and annual reviews.We thank all applicants for their interest in joining our team At this time, only candidates who have been selected for an interview will be contacted.Bachly Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
