Sr Java Full Stack DeveloperToronto ON (Contract- Remote)12 Month Contract Job Requirements:Strong critical thinking and excellent communication skillsExperience working in Agile methodology environmentExperience in conducting code reviewsAt least 8 years of experience with the following technologies:Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful APIsExperience working with containerized platformsOpenShift (preferred) - experience deploying services via JenkinsStrong knowledge and working experience with AngularStrong knowledge and working experience with relational databases like SQL Server and Oracle, including writing stored procedures and performance tuningExperience with Messaging Queues - IBM MQ, Active MQDevSecOps experienceCreating Jenkins and/or ADO pipelines from scratchSonar scan and JFrog vulnerabilities detection and remediationHighly motivated to learn new technologiesHighly experienced in troubleshooting issues and recommending interim and long-term solutionsKnowledge of integration and performance testing applicationsExperience with Production SupportGCP Experience (good to have, not required)Basic Qualifications:8+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, leading the development of highly scalable and resilient applications6+ years of deep architectural experience with Spring Boot, including experience mentoring others in its best practices and advanced features4+ years of Angular experience4+ years of leadership experience in adopting new technologies and frameworks, guiding best practices in development methodologies, and overseeing technical project management3+ years of experience in messaging systems (Kafka)
