Our client has an immediate opening for a Lead Front End Developer to join their team in Toronto on a 6 month contract with high probability of further extension.What You'll Do:Manage the front-end experience designing, developing, implementing the overall web architecture for platform and web propertiesLead projects from conception to implementationDevelop and maintain applications built in ReactUphold standards for the use of reusable components and writing and maintaining automated unit and integration testsLead code, architecture, technical reviews and discussionsExplore with the team on new front-end technologies and standards that improve processesWhat You Bring:Hands on experience with React as well as working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and building responsive layoutsFamiliarity working with Git, including pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD systemsUses a collaborative approach to building and debugging complex systemsProficient UX/UI capabilities with a focus on modern browser technologies and consumer facing productsPassionate about improving software development workflows/processNice to haves: GraphQL, Redux, Node.js, Next.js, Babel, and Highcharts
