M. Walberg Carpentry Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Carpenter. Its a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, $35.00 - $37.00/hour (depending on experience). 4% paid vacation. Our business address is 6372 Fairway Drive, Whistler, BC, V8E 0C9, Canada.Start date: As soon as possible.Work location: Whistler and Pemberton, BCAs a Carpenter, you will be expected to perform the following duties: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and other materials to construct or repair frameworks, structures, and fixtures. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, stairs, cabinets, drywall, and siding, using hand and power tools. Build foundations, floors, walls, roofs, and partitions using wood, steel studs, and other materials. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures as needed. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and job specifications during all phases of construction or repair. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and keep work areas clean and organized. Training construction helpers and assessing their progress.Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Carpenter; Must have completed high school; Presentable, professional and with excellent work ethic; Position is physically demanding; Must be able to work under minimum supervision; Must be able to work at heights, in confined, noisy, and/or dusty spaces; Must be able to handle heavy loads; Must have excellent problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing skills; Must have own steel-toed boots and hard hat.To apply, please email your resume to Only candidates meeting qualifications will be contacted.
