We are looking for someone with drive and entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as Software Engineer.The Opportunity:Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering; the Engineer will be responsible for front-end and back-end development. This position requires a combination of programming skills (Vue.js, NodeJS, Python, AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda and other AWS Services)The most important values of our team is that we love solving problems and getting the job done. Being effective at this position means, you have a passion to learn and apply those learnings to real problems.The Software Engineer will be responsible for:Work with Product Owner, Business Analysts and Engineers to ideate software solutionsDevelop client-side and server-side componentsBuild the front-end of an applicationDevelop and manage well-functioning databases and applicationsWrite effective APIsTest software to ensure responsiveness and efficiencyTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade softwareCreate security and data protection settingsBuild features and applications with a mobile responsive designWe need you to have:Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar roleExperience developing web applicationsKnowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, JavaScript framework (Vue JS), XML, jQuery)Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. Node, Python), AWS services (Lambda, Cognito, AppSync, API Gateway) and AWS Amplify CLIAn entrepreneurial spirit; willingness to do what it takes to be successfulAbility to adapt, solve problems, and find solutions while working with multiple stakeholdersStrong capability to prioritize, and achieve goalsExcellent collaborative skillsMeticulous attention to detailA high level of integrity, professionalism and reliabilityThorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.Primary additional assets we hope you have demonstrated:A minimum of 3+ years of experience in developmentPrevious work experience in an Agile environmentIt would be awesome if you have:Experience in building Serverless applications on AWSThe compensation package consists of a competitive salary, benefits and incentive bonus.
