SENIOR CITRIX INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST (APPLICATIONS FOCUS)Our Calgary based client is seeking a Senior Citrix Infrastructure Specialist with a focus on applications. RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and administer the Citrix environment, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.Oversee application publishing processes, ensuring seamless deployment and user access.Support and coordinate VDI rollout, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.Perform Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) configuration, troubleshooting, and user management tasks.Handle new Citrix/AVD requests, user provisioning, and environment updates.Monitor system performance, resolve incidents, and implement improvements to enhance end-user experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, applications, and security teams, to align Citrix solutions with business needs.Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and best practices.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Strong Citrix experience (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Studio, Director, StoreFront, etc.)Hands-on experience with application publishing and VDI management.Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments and integration.Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.Experience with troubleshooting Citrix performance and connectivity issues.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Contract to start immediately and run to Dec. 31, 2025Market RateHybrid work model: 4 days/week onsiteIf you're interested, please reply with a copy of your updated CV.I will be in contact quickly to discuss additional info and next steps.I hope to hear from you soon.
