  • Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers with payment transactions, handling money, giving change, and issuing receipts.
  • Maintain and manage cash floats, accurately collect and record daily cash balances, and prepare deposits. Responsible for ensuring all facility revenue is collected.
  • Process payments for Drop-in admissions, registrations for recreational programs, and other items at the Recreation Youth Centre and Skate Park
  • Address general inquiries and complaints in a mature, calm, and professional manner. Referring customers to the appropriate staff when necessary

Job Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, public relations, organization and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple conflicting demands in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated skills with cash handling in an accurate manner.
  • Availability to work flexible hours (e. g. evenings and weekends).
  • Due to the nature of the contacts of this position a Police Vulnerable Sector Check satisfactory to the Town is required.
