BFL CANADA is looking for an Epic Trainer in its Vancouver office

Your day as an Epic Trainer

• Deliver new hire training sessions related to any area in Epic.
• Meet the learner's needs; provide positive feedback through evaluation and amendment of training materials and methodologies.
• Provide expert and creative solutions to user problems by researching, resolving and responding to inquiries based on available information.
• Liaison between IT and internal staff to assure accurate problem interpretation.
• Collaborate with the training and support team to create and deploy feedback mechanisms for end users. Analyze results, share ideas for support process improvements and implement changes.
• Test software updates/fixes and perform postresolution followups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
• Some travel, in coordination with Lead Trainer, including overnight, between BFL offices may be required.
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or 3 years equivalent work experience.
• Experience as a trainer or in a related position.
• Experience in the Insurance Industry (an asset).
• Handson knowledge of, and experience with Applied System's broker management system EPIC and proficient computer skills.
• Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentational skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions with mínimal supervision and take initiative.
• Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
• Highly selfmotivated, analytic, problem solving and directed individual.
• Ability to present ideas in businessfriendly and userfriendly language.
• Experience working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
• Bilingual, English and French is an asset

Our Vancouver office is situated in Coal Harbour, half a block from the world renowned Seawall. Employees often enjoy activities along the Seawall during their lunch break with Stanley Park being close by.
