SUMMARY


The Bilingual Associate Project Manager (Eng-Fre) plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of all EV Charger projects within client portfolio and ensures delivery within scope, budget and requirements.


At this position level:

  • Projects are typically of low complexity, risk and exposure.
**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

For the assigned projects:

  • Plans and oversees the endtoend delivery of assigned projects. At this level, projects managed are typically of low complexity, risk and exposure.
  • In collaboration with project stakeholders, defines project scope, deliverables and requirements.
  • Develops and implements project plans.
  • Works with project coordinators to ensure all project requirements are established.
  • Understands and identifies the technical scope of work required to complete EV Charger projects.
  • Identifies project risks and develops and implements mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion.
  • Oversees the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion.
  • Communicates project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements.
Client Relationship Management

  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients and local authorities.
  • Responsible for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • University degree preferably in electrical engineering or equivalent technical expertise.
  • 1 to 3 years of project management work experience; or 5 to 7 years of project coordination work experience.
  • Project management proven ability and experience in delivering projects ontime, onbudget, within specifications and incompliant with all requirements including but not limited to regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Project Budget management proven ability and experience in developing and managing budgets.
  • Project risk mitigation and management proven ability and experience in mitigating and managing project risks.
  • Communication strong communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Expertise ability to understand electrical design requirements and ensure technical scope of work is not missed.
  • Relationship building proven ability and experience in building and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Client management proven ability and experience in managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Client service orientation strong client service orientation.
  • Project team leadership proven ability and experience in project team leadership.
  • Vendor management proven ability and experience in managing vendor performance.
  • Quality possesses a continuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate best practices and technologies in order to optimize program delivery and deliver value to the client.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

One or more of the following, an asset:

  • Project Management Institute Accreditation, in progress.
  • LEED certification; in progress.
  • Construction Administration Certificate
