Salary:

Responsibilities:

  • Inspects rail cars and its components in accordance with the railway and company standards.
  • Perform periodical, on demand or preventative inspections on railcar structures, frame, security components and others.
  • Installs and repairs railway material, such as compressors, pneumatic systems, and others.
  • Use of manual, electric and welding tools.
  • Prepare inspection reports, for maintenance and repair, using approved spreadsheet which are in conformity to company standards.
  • Assist with locomotive servicing and repair.
  • Performs all other related tasks.

General Requirements:

  • Must possess a high school diploma.
  • Experience or a diploma in electro mechanics is an asset.
  • Must possess a valid welder card (diploma in electric welding
- three positions).

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations: working hours, service calls, overtime, tasks to accomplish, outside of the work location, etc.
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

$30.00-$34.89 per hour
