The Role:

The Server/Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, serving food and beverages at various locations throughout the farm, and ensuring a pleasant and memorable experience for guests

You key responsibilities include:

  • Greet guests and take orders for food and drinks, including alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including Saunders Cider, wine, beer, and cocktails, as well as nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Serve food and clear tables, ensuring that the space is clean and wellmaintained.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and standards, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
  • Operate pointofsale systems and handle payments from guests.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members, including kitchen staff and other servers and bartenders, to ensure that events run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests for food and beverage selections, with a strong focus on Saunders Cider sales.
  • Uphold a high level of cleanliness and organization in the space and behind the bar.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SmartServe certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working as a server and/or bartender in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of guests and staff.
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, and the ability to prepare and serve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licenses and certifications.
