Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Education
  • Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology or School Counselling with a supervised clinical practicum/internship (Minimum 400 hours)
  • Teaching background at elementary or secondary level is a plus
  • Proven expertise in counseling children and engaging with school staff & parents
  • Strong organizational & interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of programs & services for families in the district and community

  • Recent Graduates: Practicum Evaluation(s) from a Master's of Counselling program
  • Experienced Teachers: Current Teaching Evaluation (not lesson observations) within the past 8 years
  • 3 Professional References - no friends or teaching colleagues
  • TRB (Teacher Regulation Branch) Status: Provide necessary documentation if in process
