Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a

Training Coordinator for our facility located in Kitchener, ON
_. _Reporting to the Plant Manager.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor training programs within the facility.
  • Consult with management to assess training needs.
  • Continually evaluate training effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for all New Hires.
  • Create, administer, and conduct probation period reviews with all New Hires.
  • Develop brochures, training materials, multimedia visual aids and presentations.
  • Utilize and schedule classroom training, demonstrations, onthejob training, meetings, conferences, and workshops to implement training methods.
  • Provide individual performance and recommendation feedback to Facility Management.
  • Conduct continuing education training and provide leadership development education.
  • Build solid crossfunctional relationships with all Team Members using interface.
  • Provide logístical support, course development, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Assist with the development, monitor the progress and edit all technical aspects of strategic training and cross training programs.
  • Create, edit and update Facility Management with efficiency issues on the plant floor.
  • Meet with Uniform Provider weekly to review invoices, fit Team Members with uniforms and adjust schedules accordingly.
  • Create and monitor computer programs, Power Points, data tracking and staffing details for production decisions.
  • Conduct interviews with potential Team Members for possible onboarding.
  • Keep in constant communication with the Production and Plant Manager regarding any staffing or production concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years training experience. Manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate).
  • MS Office and Excel proficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Prefer Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, HR or related field.
  • Regular, fulltime, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule as well as traveling to other plant locations to train and implement essential functions of this role.
  • Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
