Position Overview:

Current available shifts are Monday - Friday (daytime). no long hauls or overnighters.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 1 commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Transport goods and materials to designated locations across Greater Vancouver and Southern Interior.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of vehicles and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 Truck Driver.
  • Strong knowledge of Greater Vancouver and the surrounding areas.
  • Good command of English both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Experience with power walkies an asset but not required, as we will train the right person.
