We are seeking an experienced and skilled Janitor to join our team.

As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our clients' facilities across Aurora and Newmarket.

This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors.

This job is for evening shifts after 5pm during the week and weekends (any time). Main job site location is in Aurora, ON. Expect to work between 3 to 6 hours per shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as break rooms and conference rooms
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is necessary
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and address any concerns
