Who we need

We are looking for a compassionate Social Worker to join our Here to Help program. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating group sessions for mothers and children who have experienced domestic violence. You will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to these families.

As our new Social Worker, you will:

  • Create a safe environment for parents and children.
  • Conduct psycho-social assessments and lead group therapy sessions.
  • Manage case files and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments and reporting.
  • Stay updated on clinical practices through training and knowledge sharing.

What you bring:

  • Relevant education and experience in social work.
  • A willingness to engage with children and youth in therapeutic settings.
  • Clinical expertise in children's mental health and trauma.
  • Strong ethical standards and communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and flexibility to work evenings.

Other requirements

  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Credential verifications and references.

Compensation: $68,615 per year.
