Freelance Photographer

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated freelance photographer to capture breaking news and events for our just launched AuroraToday news site.

We're looking for an individual who:
Is driven to find the people behind the stories that matter in their communities- Knows how to capture passions, struggles and triumphs and communicate them in a compelling way- Is experienced with taking photos for breaking news and current events

• Can commit to work evenings and weekends for usA degree or diploma in journalism, photography or equivalent experience
• Strong photography skills with demonstrated ability and creativity
• Experience with editing images
• Experience with audio and video recording techniques and equipment
• Familiarity with the Aurora, Ontario community
• A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
• Their own photography equipment
