We are currently recruiting for
Supply Staff working hours as needed
.

Using a family centered, collaborative approach to service delivery, this role will be responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the Agency's EarlyON Child and Family Centres, both main and satellite sites, located in Barrie and surrounding areas, Innisfil and Bradford.
This position works variable hours and availability
during the following days/hours**:

Monday-Wednesday 8:30am to 7:00pm

Thursday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm

Compensation package:

  • Minimum starting rate of $22.94 per hour;
  • 11 statutory holidays are observed, with public holiday pay;
  • 4% vacation pay paid on each pay cheque;
  • Confidential Employer paid EAP program for you and your family members;

Minimum requirements of this position include:

  • Community college diploma or degree in E.C.E.;
  • Current registration, in good standing, with the College of Early Childhood Educators;
  • Recent relevant experience working with children and families;
  • Knowledge of community resources for parents and children;
  • Knowledge of the How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years;
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills;
  • Current First Aid/C.P.R. and NVCI Certificates are an asset;
  • Knowledge of French language is an asset;
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation is required;

Duties and responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Implementing programs that will foster children's cognitive, social and emotional development and include parents/caregivers in the delivery;
  • Setting up inquiry based learning environments
  • Facilitation of EarlyON programs and services both at main and satellite sites;
  • Promote a positive interaction between parents/caregivers and children;
  • Participate in community events as appropriate;
  • Facilitation of Parent/Caregiver training;
  • Engaging parents in conversations about their child's development and making referrals as appropriate;
  • Understanding and implementing all policies and procedures of the Agency and legislative requirements.
