Duties:

  • Organizing wood materials and move products around the shop
  • Assure proper housekeeping and organization around the machining department
  • Operate pump truck, or other equipment to load, transport and store goods
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in order, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
  • Exchange information with coworkers, managers and supervisors
  • Maintain internal, manual or computerized recordkeeping systems
  • Spraying contact glue for veneer layup
  • Use of power tools such as hand router, trimmer, etc.
  • Assist in Edge banding operations
  • Cutting materials on table saw, as needed
  • Other duties assigned as required.

Employment Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school
  • Experience in a Millwork environment is an asset
  • Experience handling raw material lifts within a production facility
  • Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
  • Experience using power tools like hand router, trimmer is an asset
  • Comfortable to work around machinery and tools
  • Forklift license is an asset, although training can be provided upon hire
  • Table saw experience is an asset, but not mandatory
