Job Summary


The Fall Intern will be a member, and key contributor, of the RBC Capital Markets (RBCCM) Business Transformation and Governance (BTG) team which supports the organization by working closely with business partners across the entire platform.


BTG's mandate is to act as a trusted partner to the business and deliver value through transformational projects, business management, as well as controls and governance.

The team spans four key focus areas, which are:

  • Business Transformation / Large Transformational Projects
  • Operational Risk, Controls & Governance
  • Supplier Management Office
  • COO Business Management

What will you do?

  • Regularly report progress of work stream status, milestones, achievements, and risks/issues in both formal and informal settings
  • Support the preparation/content creation for executive presentations

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Experience with business problem solving and financial analysis
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Eagerness to learn and strong interest in Capital Markets

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous coop/internship experience in a similar role
  • General knowledge of Capital Markets industry/products (e.g. Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets, etc.)and/or experience working in Capital Markets
