Position Overview


The Principal Consultant - Supply Chain Procurement Transformation role is responsible for working on a Procurement workstream for a client's Transformation.

The Principal Consultant will work on a client's Supply Chain Management Transformation by conducting organizational re-design and the design of a holistic Target Operating Models to create a "fit-for-purpose" solution to support the client's transformational objectives.

The Principal Consultant will also conduct workshops to create process maps and recommendations for the future state model.

Project start & duration:
on or about January 25 for 20 weeks, located in Calgary, Canada

Responsibilities

  • Support Supply Chain Procurement organizational and process transformation.
  • Provide guidance on successful Supply Chain Procurement transformation
  • Manages workstream for a largesized project.
  • Communicates project status to both client and ISG management, identifies risks and mitigation steps.
  • Escalates issues appropriately.
  • Assists with balancing relevant functional, technical, operational and implementation issues that may arise during the construction of the Transformation Roadmap.
  • Assists the client with defining an optimal Target Operating Model and retain organization redesign and process mapping.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with client business functional management.
  • Provides advisory services to midlevel management as well as senior management.
  • Attends management and project meetings as required.

Required Skillsets

  • 15 or more years of experience in Supply Chain Procurement operations.
  • General industry knowledge of leading Supply Chain Procurement technology platform capabilities.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Supply Chain Procurement consulting, solution design experience or similar role.
  • Experience focused on transformation aspects including operational improvement.
  • Project delivery management experience, including successful client relationship management and workstream oversight.
  • Expert presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easytounderstand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.
  • This is a remote position based in Calgary, Canada.
  • Travel is estimated at 25% to 50%

Education

  • BA, BS in HR, Finance, Business, or other relevant field
