Rafiki Bridge is a non-profit organization working with non-governmental and social organizations to elevate the quality of life for women and the girl-child. Our staff works with communities at the grassroots level and monitors the progress of programs and projects. We believe in the power of empowering women to empower entire communities.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Grant Writer to lead our fundraising efforts. This role is critical in securing the funds necessary to support our mission and initiatives, enabling us to make a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies.
  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with potential donors, foundations, and partners.
  • Prepare compelling grant proposals and manage the entire grant application process.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing donors to ensure ongoing support.
  • Work closely with the team to align fundraising activities with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of the non-profit sector and fundraising best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Passion for making a difference and supporting community development.
