Casual Supply Teacher(s) - East Parry Sound Locations:

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and supervise children enrolled in the Child Care Program and School-Age Program
  • Ensure development in all areas under the direction of the Supervisor
  • Work in accordance with relevant legislation and program philosophy

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a related childcare field
  • Secondary School Graduation Diploma
  • Early Childhood Education Diploma & current membership with the College of E.C.E., considered an asset
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and basic computer skills
  • Ability to travel throughout the District as required
  • Certification in Standard First Aid, including Infant and Child CPR, within 3 months of hire
  • Food Handler certification, an asset
