  • Project a positive and courteous demeanor when interacting face-to-face with customers
  • Efficiently sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and punctually
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, customers, and delivery points
  • Ensure secure handling of mail
  • Process various CPC products and services
  • Wear Canada Post identification during delivery
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
  • Have experience in making deliveries and driving in diverse weather and traffic conditions

Qualifications

Mandatory Vehicle Requirements:

  • Safe driving record
  • Valid provincial driver's license
  • Minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1415 liters)
  • Automatic Transmission Power windows; A metal roof-top and accessory power outlet
  • Middle of passenger window sill between 38" and 45" from the ground
  • Fifth door/hatchback for oversized items
  • Provide and maintain required automobile liability insurance

Note: Pass a pre-employment test and an interview to be considered.

This role may be considered Safety Sensitive and has additional requirements based on Canada Post's Substance Use Policy.
